Should women with fibroids be taking Vitamin D? 🤍
Vitamin D is one of the most researched nutrients in conversations around fibroids, with studies finding women with sufficient Vitamin D levels may have a lower risk of developing fibroids. In fact, one NIH-backed study found women with adequate Vitamin D levels were 32% less likely to have fibroids compared to those with insufficient levels.
While Vitamin D isn't a cure, and research is still evolving, it may play a supportive role in overall hormonal health and fibroid management.
For this week's recommendation, we've chosen BetterYou Vitamin D3 Oral Spray. We like it because it contains Vitamin D3, the form used in most fibroid-related research, alongside a convenient daily spray format and a clinically relevant dosage.
At Leio, we're not here to push products. We're here to help women understand the evidence, cut through the noise and make more informed decisions about what may actually support them 🤍

We asked our community to describe their journey with fibroids using just one word. The results are in the wordcloud above.
When you look at these words, we hope you see your own truth reflected back at you. If you feel exhausted or invisible or heavy, please know that these aren't just your feelings. They are the shared reality of thousands of women navigating the exact same path.
Seeing it all in one place reminds us that we aren't just imagining the weight of this. It is a real, physical, and emotional experience that deserves to be acknowledged.
